Frequently asked questions

Getting started

• Who is Hostyy for?

Airbnb hosts, vacation rental owners and property managers who want more direct bookings and less reliance on booking platforms. We work with single properties and portfolios alike.

• What does Hostyy actually do?

We're a done-for-you marketing team. We design and post your social content, run email to past guests, manage paid ads, help you show up on Google and AI tools, and build direct booking websites.

• How do I get started?

Book a 15-minute call. We'll look at your listings and current marketing, then suggest a plan around your properties, goals and budget.

• How long until things are live?

Most hosts see their first posts and emails go out within two weeks. A new direct booking website usually takes about four weeks.

Plans & contracts

• Is there a contract?

No. Plans are month to month and you can cancel anytime.

• Can I start with one service and add more later?

Yes. Many hosts start with social media or email and add ads, search or a website once they see results.

Working together

• Who will I work with?

You get a dedicated account lead backed by our marketing team of designers, writers and ads specialists.

• Do I get to approve content before it goes out?

Yes. You review the first round of posts, captions and emails before anything is published, and you can see everything planned in your content calendar.

• How much of my time does it take?

About an hour in the first week to share photos, details and access. After that, a few minutes a month to review and a short monthly check-in.

• Do you work with property managers?

Yes. We help property managers market their rentals to guests and build the kind of presence that helps them sign new owners.

Results

• How do you measure results?

We track the things that lead to bookings: reach, enquiries, email clicks, ad conversions, search visibility and direct bookings. You get a monthly report and a call to go through it.

• Will this replace Airbnb and Vrbo?

Not overnight, and it doesn't have to. The goal is to grow the share of bookings that come to you directly, so you pay fewer platform fees and own your guest relationships.

• Do you guarantee bookings?

No one can honestly guarantee bookings. What we do commit to is consistent, well-made marketing and clear reporting on what it brings in.
